I met Bohuslav Sobotka, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic from 2014-2017 quite by accident at the Shrine of the Book in Jerusalem. (Side note: I love the story of John Huss from the 1400’s that centers in the beautiful city of Prague in the Czech Republic. Many years ago took a group to the Czech Republic to retrace the steps of the great reformer John Huss, including going to Constance, Germany – on the German-Swiss border – to the HussenStein (the “Huss Stone”) where John Huss was burned at the stake May 6, 1415.) Although I do not know Prime Minister Sobotka at all, I met him for a nano-second, and I can certainly pray for him. Will you join me in praying for him and his country and the current Prime Minister.
